SONY ZD9 series (FALD Backlight Master Drive)

Yo voy a esperar a finales de mes, aunque no se si al final la compraré, pero bueno. En Supersonido está sobre los 4080 euros, donde más barata está.

En Mediamarkt a 4229 y en ECI (hasta el día 7 de noviembre) a 4249.

Según comentan en AVForums -rumores- de uno que habló con un representante de Sony, dice que a finales de este mes-principios de Diciembre (Black Friday - Inicio de camapaña navideña) vendrá una buena rebaja de precio. Insisto, dicen.

Del dicho al hecho, hay mucho trecho jeje, lo que pasa es que allí son diferentes precios que los de aquí y en la zona € se sube un poco más por las paredes.

Serían 4254€ que menos el IVA (al menos en sus condiciones indican que es el 21%) se quedaría en 3515€, los restantes 700 y pico euros te los dan para gastar allí. Y con esos 700 se puede pillar una consola, repro de BD UHD, ampli, etc.

Yo tengo que decir que una vez ya apalabrada la 65e6v , viendo que le habian bajado el lag a la zd9.....me lo pense muy muy mucho jehe.....pero quiero tener un oled en 65"

Pero si alguien me comprara la dx900 me tiraba a por la sony y asi ya la reostia

Capitan la dx900 te encantaria.....te lo garantizo....pero tienes que saber que hay escenas que la atenuacion se enciende donde no debe y se ven cosas raras......en una peli puede ser un 5% de su visionado.....pero el problema existe

Es solamente error de software me juego hasta dinero.....porque el nido de abeja trabaja muy bien en el tipo escena central brillante con fondo negro.....donde falla es en otras situaciones

El problema es que pese a ser el tope de gama y la mejor tele para HDR, sigue siendo MUY cara incluso con los descuentos de ECI y demás.

Por 3500 la compraba hoy mismo. Estoy esperando que algún comercio ponga un 10% en su web (Black Friday?) un día sin IVA, oferta puntual, etc.

La Pana se ha puesto muy interesante en Carrefour, pero el cheque de gasto allí tendría que ir para nuevo ampli y repro, el repro vale, pero los amplis que tienen allí son solo Pioneer y modelos viejos

En fin, que no se que hacer.

Por cierto ayer pusieron una serie de fotos bestiales y vuelven a comentar que ellos no ven halos (lo diré así: ELLOS, no YO, no ven halos, YO no la tengo ni se como se ve o no se ve....para los que luego entrar a meter cizaña) y que los negros los ven como los cojones de un grillo:

La gente en general (menos algunas unidades defectuosas o con banding, fugas de luz donde no debería, etc. que las devuelven y les dan una unidad correcta, como debe ser) está super contenta. No voy a copiar aquí todos los comentarios, pero la gente sigue embobada con la tele. El comentario que dejé en otra página parece el más repetido:

I did notice that when on an all grey settings screen if I stood up and walked up to the TV and looked down on it I could see two very clear bands just off centre right but they vanish and never show up in any content when you return to a sensible viewing angle!

I'm very very impressed with the blacks (and near blacks) - indeed I played various LG OLED HDR demos and my wife and kids thought it was an OLED! Blooming is virtually non-existent and in many cases is literally non-existent :cool:

The built in video player seems to play everything I throw at it via USB 3.0 without any problems whereas Kodi and VLC struggle with the 4K & HDR stuff. YouTube also plays all the 4K videos I can throw at it without any buffering - as too does Netflix and Amazon Prime.

HDR on Netflix is very good - although subtle it really does pop when it needs too and adds a realistic depth to images. I've also nearly burnt my retinas out a couple of times!! I spent a while messing with settings while watching Daredevil before I realised Season 2 is not in HDR!!!

The Android OS has been fine - quick and no troubles at all so far. It updated itself as soon as I started it.

I only have a few minor issues so far:

I'm sitting a foot closer to the ZD9 than my previous 65" because I'm waiting to swap it and hang it on the wall, so it is currently sitting on a stand in front and also slightly lower too. It is amazing how this messes with your viewing pleasure and is actually very disconcerting when you've been used to a particular setup for a while. Can't wait to move it now.

I'm in settings hell right now. I've applied the AVForums settings and then @10k's and then tweaked... and tweaked... and tweaked :confused: Just when I think I'm happy I watch something and start tweaking again! I think I need to get it calibrated so then I know it's perfect.

So images look sublime and others not so. Never bad but sometimes too soft (BBC HD) or grainy / noisy (Daredevil 4K Netflix). The latter may be the style of course.

I'm also flip flopping through the motion settings* as this is my single biggest obsession - I can spot a judder a mile off. So far never on Sky Q but on panning shots in Daredevil and Marco Polo on Netflix and on some mkv TV shows. But I can't decide between True Cinema, Smooth, Clear and Custom (with 10K's settings)! I also don't know if it is the combination of these and Reality and Film Mode!? Too many combos :eek:

I also can't send a 2160p 10 bit single from my Sky Q to the ZD9 for some reason. 2160p 8 bit works fine. The Sky Q says it doesn't support it. So I'm currently suspecting my HDMI cables - which is odd because the Sky Q one is from Sky and supposedly certified for 4K.

Not watched any 1080p blu-rays yet either and I've not bought a 4K Blu-ray player yet. I'm eyeing the new Panasonic dmp-ub700.

* ¡Alguien que me entiende! Y tiene las mismas obsesiones -parece- que yo: movimiento y detalle en sombra (lógicamente más negros lo mejores posibles, HDR, etc.).

Lo dicho, teniendo en cuenta la espectacular bajada de precios que está haciendo LG (especialmente en USA: https://www.cnet.com/news/oled-tv-fr...e-of-the-year/ ; 3000 dólares la de 65"! y 2000 la de 55), la Z aunque sea tope de gama y llegue casi a 2000 nits (o los pasa al 1%) sigue siendo cara; debería estar entorno a los 3500 para ser competitiva.
