Pero vuelvo a lo mismo, ¿de dónde sale?
Por partes:
-Rtings no dice "explícitamente" que sea panel 10 bits, de acuerdo. Con los demás modelos tampoco. Es más, si nos vamos a algunos modelos QLed de este mismo año que sí sabemos con certeza que son 10 bit porque así lo ha especificado el propio fabricante, tampoco lo dice. Es más, la gradación de color es peor en algunos casos que en el modelo de Sony. Ej: "our gradient test image without any of the significant banding usually visible on an 8-bit panel. Some imperfections in the darker colors are visible in the test picture, but the grayscale performs quite well. These imperfections are not significant enough to be an issue for normal content."
- Por muy bien que se "interpreten" los 10 bits, un panel 8 bits no es lo mismo que uno de 10 bit: 16.7 millones de colores vs 1000 millones. 64 veces más.
Por mucho que he buscado en la red no he encontrado ni una sola fuente que indique que sea un panel 8 bit. En el hilo propio de la TV en AVSforums tampoco he conseguido encontrar nada. Por contra, si he podido llegar a encontrar la nota de prensa de Sony con el lanzamiento de la Serie. Lo recorto porque es muy largo:

No sé, yo sigo manteniéndome escéptico.
Un sitio donde si dice que sea panel de 10 bits de manera clara es en avforum.

Unido a la única comunicación que he encontrado en respuesta del sat de Sony que decía algo así como "toda nuestra serie x9 tiene panel de 10 bit"... aunque, realmente, yo jamás me fiaría de lo que diga alguien que se dedica a contestar emails en masa.
