EA ha anunciado una sociedad con Epic Games y Grasshopper(Suda 51). La sociedad también implica Shinji Mikami, quien es responsable de la serie Resident Evil.

Working with EA Partners on an All-New Action Horror Title

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 14, 2008--Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:ERTS) today announced a publishing agreement with iconic Japanese development studio Grasshopper Manufacture. Under the terms of the deal, EA Partners will publish an all-new action horror game produced by Shinji Mikami and directed by innovative game designer Suda51.

The title is being developed for the PC, Xbox 360(R) video game system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION(R)3 computer entertainment system and Wii(TM).

Sí, estando Epic de por medio, está claro que el asunto irá por PlayStation 3 y Xbox 360.

Sobre Mikami-san, a mi juicio es un revolucionario cuando de verdad se pone en algo. Cuando ha hecho de director de algún proyecto, ha sido muy bueno.

Sobre Suda51, es cierto que se le va la chapa, pero estoy seguro que tarde o temprado hará un trabajo de verdadero Hi-End.

Me gustaría que esto se matizara..

Según he hestado leyendo, parece ser que el tema E.A. + Epic va por un lado, y que el tema de Mikami-san + Suda51 + E.A. va por otro.

Es decir, E.A. finanziaría un proyecto con Epic, y otro proyecto con Suda+Mikami-san.

El de Suda51 y Mikami-san sería un Survival Horror para todas las plataformas. Es decir: Ps3,Xbox 360, Wii y PC.

Del de E.A. + Epic, poco/nada sé...
