Another PC vendor has joined the 4K display club. Dell is showing off its upcoming UltraSharp 32 at the Siggraph professional graphics conference in Anaheim, California. The 32" monitor features an IGZO panel with an "Ultra HD" 3840x2160 display resolution, just like recently announced 4K screens from
Asus and
Sharp.
According to Engadget, which has
published pictures of the monitor, the UltraSharp 32 offers a wide gamut with 1.07 billion colors. The display will come with Dell's own color calibration software and will ship in the fourth quarter of this year. No price is mentioned, but you can bet this monster won't be cheap. The Asus PQ321Q
sells for $3,500, and Sharp's 4K monitor is even pricier.
