The new information is also the first official confirmation that AMD is indeed supplying the CPU and GPU for the PS4. Sony didn't bother to state AMD's name during the press event when it talked about the "x86 based processor" and the graphics chip inside the PS4. Indeed, the press release buries AMD's name near the bottom of the document, with Sony stating that the console uses a single chip processor, with a CPU using AMD's eight core Jaguar design and the GPU using an unnamed "next generation Radeon" chip that generates 1.84 teraflops.

The PS4 will have eight GB of RAM, a Blu-Ray disc drive with 8xCAV read speed for Blu-Ray discs and 6xCAV read speeds for DVD discs. It will also have an unknown number of USB 3.0 ports, Ethernet with support for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T, WiFi with support for IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 wireless support. Finally, the PS4 will have HDMI, Digital Output and Analog-AV out ports.

Sony dice que no enseñaron la consola porque es simplemente una consola (una caja, para ser más exactos) y que se han centrado únicamente en el mando....

Imagino que estarán de broma. Estos se creen que han sacado un Wiimote o un Tabletomando.

Por otro lado, pensaba que sería una presentación en toda regla: consola, juegos, precios, fechas, etc..., y ha sido una simple y llana avanzadilla.

¿Lo importante? Pues que se confirma PlayStation 4 y que lo hace para este mismo 2013. Great !!!

El mando puede ser discutido o no pero va a costar un pastón comprarse un segundo mando,ya el de ahora cuesta una pasta a saber cuanto costará el de la ps4 con tanta chuminada.

Yo supongo que tan pronto salga la compraré si es que sale con un precio razonable y solo esperaré a un dia sin iva o algo asi.

Me interesa para utilizarla tambien para ver peliculas porque la ps3 ya da mucha más calidad en divx que el usb de mi tv y como la ps3 no reproduce mkv la ps4 supongo que si.

Si aún van a tardar en sacarla ya la podrían sacar con el nuevo estandar de wifi ac,la ps3 salió con el g y en ese sentido se quedó obsoleta al poco de salir y los muy cabrones de sony no han tenido tiempo de ponerle el wifi n (igual se enteraron ahora que existe el n y el ac se enterarán cuando saquen la ps5 )
