Ahora que está tan de moda el tema del FULLHD, parece estar en boca de muchos la coletilla de... si no es 1080p no la quiero.

Muchos me preguntan si compraría una serie X de sony y siempre digo que si... pero no x que sea 1080p


Primero dejar claro que a igualdad de condiciones, mejor 1080p que 1080i pero....

Si váis a comprar un panel sólo por que sea 1080p, posiblemente estéis eligiendo erroneamente. De la misma manera que si alguien se decanta por la compra de un equipo HI-FI teniendo como primera prioridad, la cantidad de watios de sonido, pensando que con más potencia, siempre tendrá mejor calidad de sonido.

En casi todas las páginas de reviews objetivas con el mercado, se llega a la misma conclusión.

Elegir un panel teniendo como primera prioridad el que sea 1080p es un error.

CNET.com set up five flat-panel displays with different native resolutions and hooked them up to a Samsung Blu-ray player to output a true 1080p signal. Not surprisingly, when comparing the 1080i to 1080p displays the 1080p did a better job of displaying brick patterns.

Ultimately, CNET.com agrees with the Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) when it says that the most important aspect of picture quality is contrast ratio, the second-most important is color saturation, and the third is color accuracy. Though resolution may be the most talked-about spec these days, it comes in fourth on the ISF list.

Final advice? When buying a TV, the last thing you probably want to do is agonize over its native resolution. If you don't mind spending the extra dough for 1080p, go for it. But if it's stretching your budget, then take a pass, knowing it's not all that it's cracked up to be.

a la hora de decidirse por un panel, fijarse (evidentemente mirando la pantalla, no en el catálogo) por este orden en el contraste, saturación de color y fidelidad de los colores con la realidad, el tema 1080i vs 1080p debe ser algo secundario dada la poca diferencia que aporta en calidad pura, en comparación con los 3 anteriores


Tenéis muchas más reviews por foros y revistas con las mismas conclusiones.

Son muchos los paneles de marcas más o menos conocidas que se van a subir al carro del 1080p tras el verano y más aún en navidades (es la nueva pegatina"you must have" que estará de moda)

Si váis a comprar un panel o estáis buscando que comprar, olvidaros de esta nueva moda por la que todo panel 1080p (de la marca que sea) siempre es mejor, de echo, en mi opinión el mejor plasma y el mejor LCD del mercado hoy, no son 1080p.


Y a todos los que me preguntan por unos modelos u otros con el... "es que esta es full" que lo tengan claro, el 1080p frente a 1080i para menos de 42" es practicamente, inapreciable, (incluso con 720p en 32" fui incapaz de ver ni una sola diferencia) pero los colores, el contraste y demás NO y es lo que debe marcar SIEMPRE vuestra elección.
