Está solucionado.

La verdad todavía no he visto un HC9000 con CIE dentro de norma tras el calibrado, ya que hay algunas disputas sobre si funciona o no el nuevo firmware, ya me entiendes "ander77"

Leyendo completamente las 25 páginas del hilo, creo sólo el citado "fraisa" ha escrito que le funciona correctamente pero de momento no hay medición alguna donde se muestre. Ojalá sea cierto, ya que estoy convencido que con nuevo software y/o hardware se puede solucionar perfectamente


Parece que la falta de una excelente convergencia de dicho modelo todavía sigue sin solucionarse, ya que si se intenta "arreglar" con el ajuste fino se producen otras anomalías:

Its totally a firmware thing. But adjusting to hide the misconvergence, and all less than one full pixel convergence adjutments by software or firmware adjustments simply hide the misconvergence , may make other things worse. Any viewer no matter how unsophisticated can see misconvergence and eliminating it to his peepers when perched two inches from the screen is the only thing such a viewer cares about and the set manuafacturers have learned to keep them happy by letting the customers hide misconvergence with most thinking they through the adjustments have really converged things. Be careful what you wish for if you end up adjusingt things fractionally between say .3 and .4 pixels. Far better to leave a tad misconvergence if you can't see it from your viewing position. I have discussed this many many times before in many threads and I am not going to engage in another discussion here. Its complex. If you want to discuss just give me a call.

I have used and reviewed the HC9000D. Its a nice machine, enjoy, and don't fret about a small amount of residual misconvergence when viewed up close.

También veo que tras preguntar en Avsforum que teniendo un X3 podías conseguir por mismo precio un JVC X30 o un Mitsubishi HC9000, el forero RickAVManiac que tiene un X30 y un SXRD HC9000 te respondió esto:

Más o menos lo mismo que dijo el forero calibrador THX "Canary_Jules" en avsforum cuando comparó en su batcave su SXRD VW95ES con un X70. Si es que al final se va viendo como ni unos son Dioses, ni los otros tanto peores... sino que hay muchas opiniones que no apuntan precisamente a eso.
Y es que en proyección las diferencias son mucho más sutiles de lo que a veces nos pensamos cuando se realizan comparaciones serias y los resultados muchas veces distan sobremanera de lo que se lee en algunas publicaciones que se encuentran por la red. Hay que ir con mucho ojo.




Incluso puedes encontrar un cometario tan curioso como este, comentario ni más ni menos de Tom Huffman (al que tanto se suele aludir cuando conviene):

Valor de contraste nativo que curiosamente el 80% de los proyectores actuales incluso bastante baratos cumple... incluso algunos DLP de hace unos cuantos años.
