I'm happy to say I've been working on this issue with several calibrators, and some engineering contacts as well as reading David Mackenzie's and SuperCurro reviews as well as my own research and testing and evaluating on my VT30s that have varying degrees of FB.
After many sleepless nights of research and testing I am able to get a near perfect calibration in Custom and THX with very minimal to no FB on several of my VT30s that I have been working on. After reading cjakutowicz post about his unacceptable FB problem I sent him a PM offering my solution.
So our first attempt helped significantly and with our second tweak we have almost completely eliminated the issue and set-up his VT30 with near reference settings. All done over the phone.
I will report my findings to Panasonic to see if this helps them fix the issue in future production.
A big thanks goes to Kevin Miller, D-Nice, Ed Johnson, cjakutowicz, my engineering contacts, David Mackenzie's and SuperCurro and many sleepless nights of researching and testing.
