After about 3 emails ( and repeatedly being asked for information that had already been provided) I received the following response advising me to ignore all forums, which leads to the paradox below, I am sorry if the universe implodes when I hit "post reply" :

I hope you have had a good weekend and I am happy to help you with this. I have looked into this for you and I do apologise for all the confusion however we do not currently have any TV's that support the HDMI 2.0a connection and are not offering an upgrade for this as it is not currently something thats released by ourselves.
I can only apologise for this and would advise you ignore all forums due to them not being officially released by ourselves. I would however like to advise you the 2.0a facility can be accessed by streamed applications but not HDMI.
