Vamos a ver. El Oppo supera al 5900 y 39xx de Denon.
Supera al 9600 de Marantz, ¿¿te imaginas lo que puede hacer frente al 6600???
Por debajo de Oppo y por encima de estos, tienes el Panasonic S77
The Panasonic DVD-S77S DVD player can play a variety of audio and video disc formats, including the following: DVD-Audio, DVD-Video, DVD-RAM, DVD-R, video CD, audio CD, and CD-R/RW, including MP3, WMA, and JPEG files. The new standard for super high-fidelity sound, DVD-Audio discs provide multiple channel stereo, incredible storage capacity, and unique bonus materials not available on regular audio CDs. This player also features HighMAT (High-Performance Media Access Technology). Co-developed by Panasonic and Microsoft, HighMAT was designed to significantly improve interoperability for digital media content between PCs and popular electronics devices such as CD players, car stereos and DVD players. HighMAT is a digital-media standard that provides a dramatically improved method of storing, arranging and playing back personal digital photo, music and video collections on recordable discs such as CD-RW media. So get the DVD player that does it all.
Progressive Scan
The goal of any playback device should be accurate reproduction of the original content. In the case of DVDs, most of that content is film-based. Utilizing advanced progressive scan playback techniques and very accurate MPEG video decoders, the DVDS77S provides an image that faithfully represents the image you see at your favorite movie theater. The 480P progressive scan image offers higher picture resolution and eliminates virtually all motion artifacts. Even on large screens, the progressive scan lines are barely noticeable and picture flickering is greatly reduced. With Panasonic's progressive scan system working for you, you can look forward to enjoying many hours of entertainment that is a real treat for your eyes (your TV must be capable of displaying a 480p image).
HDMI
One of the key features of the Panasonic DVD-S77S is it's HDMI capability. HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a new interface standard for digital transmission of video and audio signals. With HDMI, the signals are not compressed. Transmission is direct and "pure" - free of the degredation and noise that occur with analog signal transmission. This new interface supports image resolution all the way up to 1080p. HDMI is particularly well suited for images that will be viewed on plasma display panels, LCDs and other equipment that uses all-digital image processing. In terms of sound, HDMI is ideal for DVD-Audio and other high-quality digital formats. It accurately transmits even the most delicate signal components contained in high-quality audio signals. The result is superb sound, whether the source is two-channel or multi-channel. HDMI is simple to use, too, requiring connection of a single cable. With all these advantages, HDMI is the ideal interface for today's age of steadily advancing digital A/V equipment and media.
A Broad View
Let's take a look at this excellent machine with a broader lens. The Panasonic DVD-S77S DVD Player is single-disc player featuring an HDMI connection that provides high quality, uncompressed digital audio/video signal transmission. This avoids complicated and troublesome connection of components. Digital TV owners can watch DVDs in higher resolution, with enhanced color and detail. The DVD-S77 can up-convert the video resolution of ordinary DVD titles to 720p/1080i to more closely match the capabilities of today's high definition televisions. Multi-channel DVD-Audio playback brings 6 channels of incredibly powerful and realistic surround sound to living rooms everywhere. The DVD-S77 can play DVD-Video, 5.1 channel DVD-Audio, DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, HDCD, video and audio CD, CD-R, CD-RW, WMA, MP3 and JPEG formats. This model also supports HighMAT for enhanced interoperability with personal computers. When the Panasonic DVD-S77S is connected to an HDMI-compliant monitor, standard 480p DVD images can be upconverted to 720p or 1080i for output, resulting in pictures near HDTV in quality. The converted images have a much higher resolution than the 480p images of conventional component output. You get beautiful high-resolution images that are prefect for today's large-screen HD plasma display panels, LCDs and LCD projectors.
