Hardly a week from now, DViCo intends to release a new FW including .mkv support for pubic access. This is rather fast after the Alpha and Beta versions but then again purposes filtering of bugs "en mass” which is always good. International Sales manager Jimmy Seo said Dvico is well aware of the long period people had to wait for added .mkv and that the Company is happy they have achieved this.



"We know well how long you have expected Dvico TViX to playback 'MKV' file format since the TViX M-4100SH and TViX M-5100SH were on the market", says Jimmy Seo, "and we had tried to meet your needs. And even though a lot of the inquiries have knocked our email box, we could not give positive answers to them, but a word/promise that we would release a new firmware soon.

We are very happy to inform you that the Beta version of the firmware that is able to play 'MKV' file format will be uploaded to our website no later than the 17th of August with specific description after all."


So far, we have no idea of which codec’s will be supported inside the .mkv container but updates are never far away with DViCo and surely will be improved along the way to support the vast majority of possible codec’s. Even though we trust in this, we have to be skeptic concerning processing power and memory limitations and make sure these updates don't become reality at the cost of other features which makes the DViCo our favorite as not always is an update only an update...


Have fun looking out for the .mkv release. Once done, makes sure you are around telling us about your experience so we can further help improve the products in the future with tailored feedback from consumers.

Existen algunos modelos que , van leyendo h264 y se pueden comprar en pixmania. El unico problema que no tienen garantia española por los distribuidores de aquí. Por eso me da tirria....

Tengo un M-5000a de 400 gbytes a estrenar, todo lo demás vendido y todos foreros y contentos. Sigo mostrando en Madrid. Y se mantiene el precio del modelo de 300 gbytes o sea 270. envío aparte

Buenas chicos,

Pues a través de empresa me he hecho con estos 2 reproductores multimedia, como aun no les he abierto me quiero deshacer de uno que me sobra asi que elegid uno si os interesa. Tengo factura de compra de la semana pasada de cada uno con su correspondiente garantia.

Proceden del distribuidor de TVIX en españa NT DIGITALES no de importacion de forma que tienen garantía española. Solo los distribyen en España El corte ingles y NT Digitales.

Si aun no los conoceis, son el referente de discos duros multimedia para conectar a un televisor por calidad del producto como de visionado.

Podeis ver sus características en tvix.es.

Las diferencias entre ambos son solo el diseño y la capacidad de disco, por lo demás son los últimos modelos que distribuyen en España. Los discos duros se pueden sacar y cambiar por otros de mayor capacidad. Pueden hacer Streaming. LAN, posibilidad WIFI. USB Host, Escalado a 1080i/p. Perfecto para cable DVI-hdmi.


Vendo nuevos a estrenar sin desprecintar:
