Grabador DVD LG RHT-397H

Hola ayer adquiri el modelo 399. El problema que tengo es que no me lee ningun VCD (tengo muchas con pleis de mis hijos....)

A vosotros os lee VCD sin problemas?

Yo le tengo también, no he podido probar VCD´s porque no tengo, pero en el manual creo que pone que si los lee. Si no lo hace que te lo cambien.

hace poco grabe una pelicula de la tele que duraba 2h 4m y en calidad XP.
la grabé a un dvd (tambien en calidad XP) y solo se grabó 1h 17m

¿cual es el la duracion máxima para cada calidad?

Al final me he decidido por este grabador y mis primeras impresiones sobre el han sido estupendas.
Tenía dudas de cómo reproduciría divx desde USB 1.1 y la verdad me ha sorprendido gratamente.
Tengo un disco duro externo Western Digital de 500 GB y me lo lee todo. De momento todos los xvid ,divx los ha reproducido a la perfección, incluso los de alta calidad y con rate variable (pelis de 1,3 GB).
Por lo demás no he encontrado ningún fallo o problema, aunque tan solo llevo 3 días con el.

Pues más claro el agua: 1h 17' en esas condiciones. Las demás vienen en el manual.

Hola, pues te agradecería que me dijeras cómo se puede grabar un canal de TV (digital) y cambiar a otro canal (digital), porque el problema que tengo, es que cuando grabo un canal, no me deja cambiar a otro, al pulsar otro canal me sale una señal de prohibido, y claro, lo veo absurdo, grabar algo y no poder cambiar de canal, algo estaré haciendo mal, pero no consigo saber el qué, y el manual, no explica nada al respecto.

No es absurdo, es normal. Casi ningún aparato permite ver un canal y grabar otro, como tu antiguo vídeo.

Sólo las que tienen doble sintonizador lo hacen, y son muy pocos (algún Siemens.....)

Tengo el RHT-398 H y el tema es que no consigo que mande la señal de salida a través del cable de antena como el antiguo vídeo. Ésto lo necesito porque tengo un televisor conectado a él con el euroconector sin problemas y otro televisor en otra habitación con el cable de antena.
Otra opción que tampoco encuentro en el menú ni en el manual es cambiar la señal en la que emite el DVD ya que hay un canal de la televisión que me lo machaca y con el DVD encendido se ve muy mal.

¿Quién te ha dicho que el LG tenga modulador de TV, para ver por antena lo que pille?

Si en el manual no lo pone ¿no será que no lo tiene?

También estoy intentando hacer multizona mi reproductor lg RHT 398 y no soy capaz. Respecto al primer método que dices, ¿qué significa OP change y cómo se hace (si es que es fácil)? Respecto a la segunda opción, he visto que puedo bajar el fichero RH3xx.iso, pero me gustaría saber qué cambios hace en el grabador antes de instalarlo a ciegas. Muchas gracias

I´m trying to make multiregion free my DVD recorder LG RHT 398 but I don't know how to do it. I don't understand "OP change" and how to do it (in case it is easy). I also checked that I can download the file RH3xx.iso, but don´t want to install it before I know what changes makes in the recorder. Thank you very much for your help

You can make you recorder region-free by a OP change.
But if you want the hack from tripod you can find it here:

To change the OP you have to enter in the service-menu by pressing CLEAR on the remote control and EJECT on the recorder and keep them pressed until the menu appears (about 6 seconds). It's easy to do.

RHxxx.iso only set your recorder region free. Just this. But I guess it's not reversible.

Perfecto, prefiero el sistema del menú OP por si tengo que deshacer los cambios (me queda un año de garantía). Ya he entrado en el menú y veo que hay valores desde OP1 hasta OPA. ¿Caul es el que tengo que cambiar, y qué valor tengo que ponerle? Los valores que me aparecen, por si los necesitas para saber qué cambiar, son (en hexadecimal): (VER MÁS ABAJO)

Which one must I change, and what is the value I must put? Just in case you need the actual values, here they are (in hexadecimal):

OP2: 30 (this line also have "071129C", seems to be a date)
OP3: 51
OP4: 60
OP5: 0e
OP6: ae
OP7: 45
OP8: 13
OP9: 0d
OPA: 00

Also, to exit the menu, I have to press the button "MP", I don't know which one is it.

Set this to "8E" for region-free or to "8F" for region-free + MPEG4 recording.
