Grabador DVD LG RHT-397H

Cada DVD original tienen asignadas zonas dependiendo del lugar del mundo donde se venden (el número de zona lo puedes ver en pequeño en alguna parte de la carátula). Creo que también pueden venir configurados para todas las regiones. En el caso de España (creo que toda Europa) tenemos asignada zona 2 (EEUU tienen otra y China otra distinta). En principio el reproductor de DVD viene configurado para leer DVDs de tu zona (zona 2 para España), con lo que si compras un DVD en EEUU o China no lo podrías ver en el reproductor. Y aquí es donde necesitarías el hacer al reproductor "multizona", sólo lo necesitarías para poder leer DVDs de zonas distintas a la 2.
Espero haberte aclarado algo con la leve idea que tengo del tema.

¿Para que sirve el multizona? He estado buscando informacion y no se para que sirve.

I already posted the news in another therad, but maybe no one read it.
The new firmware posted in the rht4xx thread seems to be suitable also for rht3xx recorders: we tested it on an RHT397H (italian model) and it works without problems.

Hola, lo he utilizado en el RHT 397 y sin problemas ,por cierto ¿alguien nos puede decir las diferencias del 080211A a este MUCHAS GRACIAS

Buenas, soy nuevo por aquí aunque os leía de hace tiempo. Tengo un LG RHT-397H desde hace unos meses y de pronto un día empezó el sonido a irse poco a poco hasta que no se escuchaba nada, me cambiaron el grabador por otro igual pero este nuevo le ocurren dos cosas:

1. A veces se cuelga y cuando lo enciendes se queda el cartelito de Hello dando vueltas sin pasar de ahí, desconectandolo un rato y volviendolo a conectar vuelve a ir bien.

2. Cuando se va calentando van apareciendo en la imagen como pequeños destellos (la imagen se oscurece levemente durante medio segundo) que son bastante molestos y con el tiempo llega a ponerse en blanco y negro en vez de oscurecerse levemente.

Al no llevar ningún ventilador se calienta en exceso, llegando al punto que casi no se puede tocar de lo que quema.

Llegados a este punto tengo dos opciones, llevarlo al SAT (que aquí en Cádiz no es que sea demasiado bueno, tirando a horrible) o cambiarlo por un Samsung SH-893 de similares características.

Espero podaís ayudarme, con este problema, ya que por más que leo no sé que hacer.

Si, cierto es posible que tengan el mismo HW ambos son igual de malos para leer distintos archivos bajados de la Red ,con esta intencion lo actualize pero quedo igual voy a tener que comprarme un nuevo Lector de DVDs aunque sea de lo mas normalito (entre 35 y 50 €) que creo que son los que se tragan todo, Saludos

Hi nicodo. After a full day reading the thread I've updated my RHT-398H eith this firmware.

Everything seems to work fine, but I've seen something extrange: when the DVD detected the CD with new release, it showed me a message saying onld version (080125A) and the new one (09xxxx -sorry, I didn't note down the number) ... but after the upgrade and a power off cycle, if I see at 'system info' I can see the current version as 080603I (before the update, I saw 080125A).

do you know the reason for this gap between releases?

This is strange.
The fw version is 90828E (i.e. 28/08/2009). So, it should appear 90828E in the 'system information'.
Try one of the follow to check the version:
1) Press SETUP on the remote control
2) Go onto TV icon and select it, then select DISPLAY FORMAT, go onto "16:9" without selecting it
3) Press 1 3 9 7 1 3 9 buttons and then ENTER
or:
1) Press SETUP on the remote control
2) Go onto TV icon and select it, then select DISPLAY FORMAT, go onto "16:9" without selecting it
3) Press 4 5 6 2 5 8 0 buttons and then ENTER
or:
1) Press SETUP on the remote control;
2) Go onto the padlock icon without selecting it
3) Press 7 8 8 9 buttons and then ENTER

I have a TV 37LF2510 that can play mkv files, but for that I need the USB disk with NTFS format, because of the size of the file. I know that I won't be able to play this file at this DVD, but I don't want to be re-formating once and other the usb disk
