Brutal Legend is a tour de force that wraps up humor, music, and clever gameplay into one highly polished package. You haven't played a game quite like this before and won't want to miss it. Tim Shafer is one of the funniest guys in games and Jack Black is one of the funniest guys in movies -- together they'll keep you ROFLing (although the laughs do taper off as you work your way through the game). Brutal Legend isn't quite perfect and there is room for improvement (it's a little short, side quests are repetitive...), but when the credits roll you'll find yourself hoping for a sophomore release. Double Fine created a rich heavy metal universe and backstory full of great characters and creatures, with potential for an out-of-this-world sequel. Here's hoping Shafer and company get a chance to take us there.
9.5 Presentation
When you can say a game's title screen is awesome, you know you're in for something good.
9.0 Graphics
Terrific character animation and the game world is beautiful. You'll notice some pop-up, though.
9.5 Sound
Metal fans will be in heaven listening to Brutal Legend's soundtrack, but more impressive is the voice acting.
9.0 Gameplay
A variety of gameplay styles are pulled together without any of them feeling tacked on or inadequate.
8.0 Lasting Appeal
The Legend is a little on the short side, but there are plenty side quests to be accomplished even after the credits roll.
Yo ya lo he pedido de importación. En una semana supongo que me llegará.
